Pastor Jeff Tibbetts is an author, teacher, and founder of Redeeming Grace
Ministries whose life and ministry have been shaped by a simple truth: a walk
with God is almost never a straight line.
Jeff entered vocational Christian ministry in 1988. Over more than three
decades, he has served as a pastor, church planter, ministry leader, and
encourager of pastors and leaders. His journey has included seasons of growth
and unexpected transition, independent ministry and denominational leadership,
painful endings and surprising new beginnings.
Through it all, Jeff has discovered the faithfulness of God.
That journey eventually brought Jeff and his wife, Deb, to the work they now
share through Redeeming Grace Ministries. Long before the ministry had a name
or location, Jeff had sensed as a young man that one day he would help provide
a retreat setting for pastors in the mountains of New England. Decades later,
that nearly forgotten calling resurfaced during three days of prayer, fasting,
and silence.
Today, with Mount Monadnock as its natural backdrop, the Redeeming Grace
Ministry Center provides a place where people can step away from the demands of
life and ministry to rest, pray, seek God, and experience His peace and
presence. Jeff serves as founder and spiritual director, while Deb's gift of
hospitality is an integral part of the ministry they share.
Redeeming Grace's vision is “Leading the Body of Christ into Maturity,” with
a mission of “Strengthening Pastors and Leaders Who Can Build Healthy Churches
and Advance God's Kingdom.”
Writing has become another expression of that calling. Jeff writes from
lived experience about prayer, perseverance, spiritual maturity, relationships,
restoration, and following God when the path ahead is uncertain. What began
with personal poems, prayers, pastoral letters, and reflections has developed
into an increasingly fruitful season of writing.
Jeff continues to preach and teach, leads a weekly online Bible study,
writes, and ministers alongside Deb through Redeeming Grace. Whether
ministering across a table, from a pulpit, through a conference, online, or on
the written page, his desire remains the same: that God would be glorified and
others would be strengthened and encouraged.
The road has rarely been straight.
But God has never abandoned him, God has never let him down, and through it
all, Jeff has learned to love Him more.
